A Computer Maintenance Technician ensures the operational efficiency of an organization’s IT infrastructure by installing, repairing, and upgrading hardware and software. They troubleshoot network, server, and workstation issues, perform regular maintenance, and provide technical support to users, often maintaining an inventory of equipment and documenting repairs.

Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair issues in computers, laptops, and printers • Install operating systems and software, and troubleshoot software problems • Maintain and upgrade hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, GPU, Motherboard, CPU) • Diagnose CPU issues, including performance and overheating problems • Remove, install, and clean CPUs, and apply thermal paste • Inspect and troubleshoot GPU performance and display issues • Handle motherboard-related faults and repairs
