Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate rural development activities and initiatives
• Follow up with cooperatives, local producers, and artisans to ensure product quality and compliance with standards
• Support organic certification processes and product development, including packaging and branding
• Organize events and training sessions to strengthen production and business skills
• Identify market opportunities and support access to local and international markets
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and laboratory testing to ensure quality and compliance
• Prepare monthly and annual reports aligned with organizational and donor requirements
• Promote environmentally sustainable practices and awareness on natural resource use
Qualifications:
o Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
o Strong computer skills, including MS Office and internet/email communication
o Excellent coordination and communication skills
o Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
o Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Rural Development, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
o Minimum 5 years of professional experience in community development or a related role
o Demonstrated experience in implementing community development initiatives
