A Customs Clearance Consultant guides businesses through import and export regulations, ensuring compliance by providing expertise on customs laws, tariff classification, documentation, and duty payments. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing import/export declarations, liaising with customs authorities and logistics partners, and advising clients on trade best practices to prevent issues and optimize costs. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and staying current with evolving customs and trade regulations.

Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations and related documents. • Verify HS codes, duty rates, and trade requirements. • Ensure accuracy of invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and permits. • Liaise with customs brokers, port authorities, and internal teams. • Resolve clearance delays, discrepancies, or penalties. • Monitor shipments and recommend process improvements. Qualifications: • 2–4 years of experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding in Lebanon. • Strong knowledge of Lebanese customs regulations, HS codes, and trade documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain (preferred). • Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus). • Experience at Beirut’s port or airport customs operations is a strong advantage. • Detail-oriented and accurate. • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Team player with good communication skills. • Ethical and compliance-driven mindset.
